One of my operators has about 50 well candidates for reworks on various leases in TX that are shut in at the moment. He currently produces over 140 BOPD on average.
The proposal is as followed:
*The Operator will assign 50%WI in exchange for price above per well.
*Guarantee of 3 BOEPD after 90 days of well online. If not, Operator will assign you additional equivalent WI in one of his producing wells
*First right of refusal on subsequent wells
The first candidate is a Caddo well about 4,000′ with 400 psi on the casing. The Operator feels this well alone could make upwards of 10 BOEPD after rework. Gas pipeline is already set.
Simply put…no real risk, just upside and duplicate-able.
